Culture week - Year 1 visit Year 2

This week all of the children have been spending time in the mornings in their new classes. The children have been learning about Brazil and the Olympics. They made their own non fiction books, found out about the Olympic symbols and made their own Olympic torch. We also found out about the carnival and made some lovely colourful necklaces. They have even learnt some Portuguese! A really fun week.

Our trip to Hedingham Castle

We had a wonderful day at Hedingham Castle. The children enjoyed exploring the different rooms and we found out more about what life was like to live in a castle. The children loved exploring the different artefacts and everyone was keen to go in the dungeon. After lunch, we stormed the castle, this was very much enjoyed by all!
